About Us

Mel has spent his career in contracting, client organisations and consultancy, spread over almost equal periods in time. He is a practical and versatile engineer and chartered transport planner with experience in the planning, development, conceptual and detailed design, construction, delivery and testing and commissioning of railways, highways, marine works and tunnels and associated rail and marine logistics. He has worked throughout the UK and Ireland and in the Middle East and has been involved in design and planning of projects in Africa and Australia. Some of the projects on which he has played an important role are the Channel Tunnel, London Underground’s Jubilee Line Extension and Transport for London’s Crossrail project.

Away from work Mel enjoys travel and studying history.

Maxine spent the early part of her career in a variety of roles in commerce, engineering and retail. She brings this wealth of experience and considerable flair to an industry that can be very insular and limited in its outlook. Because all of the company’s work is carried out away from base and often overseas, Maxine is based in our office and provides a focal point for all the company’s activities and acts as a primary contact for clients. She is responsible for all finance, commercial and marketing for the company and has introduced many innovative ideas in the marketing and other outward facing aspects of the company.

Away from work Maxine is a classical soprano and enjoys creating and maintaining the garden at her country home.
